This section applies to content you submit or share in connection with the Services, including: testimonials, reviews, comments, and survey responses; photographs and videos of you or your artwork; and posts, images, and messages you share in our member areas, communities, and social media groups (including our Facebook groups), during live online events, or at in-person events and workshops (collectively, “User Content”).
b. License You Grant Us
By submitting or sharing User Content, you grant Jed Dorsey Fine Art LLC / Acrylic University a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and adapt (for example, crop, resize, or excerpt) that User Content — with or without your name — in our marketing, advertising, social media, websites, and educational materials.
c. You Keep Ownership of Your Artwork
This license is non-exclusive, which means you retain full ownership of and copyright in your artwork and other User Content. Nothing in this section limits your right to sell, license, display, or otherwise use your own work.
d. Name & Likeness
You consent to our use of your name, image, voice, and likeness as they appear in photographs, video recordings, and screen captures taken during live online sessions, in-person events, workshops, and community activities — including chat comments and artwork shared on screen during online events.
e. No Compensation
You will not be entitled to any compensation for our use of User Content or your likeness as described in this section.
f. Moral Rights
You waive any moral rights in User Content to the extent permitted by law.
g. Removal Requests
If you would like us to stop using a particular piece of User Content, email [email protected]. We will remove it from our active digital materials where practicable. Uses already in circulation (for example, printed materials or previously published content) may remain.
h. In-Person Events
We may ask you to sign a separate media release at in-person events or workshops. Where signed, that release governs for that event.
13. Contests & Promotions
Separate rules may apply to promotions or contests. If there is a conflict, the promotion rules govern.
14. Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for third-party websites, platforms, or services accessed through our Services.

Selling Artwork Created in Acrylic University
If you create artwork while painting along with an instructor:
You must acknowledge the source:
On back: “Completed in class with [artist name]”
Or front: “[Your name] after [original artist]”
You may:
Post online (with proper acknowledgment)
Sell privately (not publicly listing a price)
Gift or donate (with acknowledgment)
Use as a springboard for original work
You may NOT:
Enter lesson paintings in competitions
Display them publicly as entirely original
Publicly advertise them for sale with pricing
Use hashtags:
