Jed heads outdoors to explore and observe the world—showing you how to notice light, color, mood, and possibility in everyday scenes.

2. Capturing Reference Photos
You’ll see how photos and videos are taken with painting in mind—not perfection, just potential.

3. Choosing a Reference (and Why)
Jed walks through how to select a reference image and explains why it works as a painting.

4. Editing & Cropping for Composition
You’ll learn how to simplify, crop, and adjust a photo so it becomes paintable instead of overwhelming.

 5. Painting Step by Step
The painting process is slow, clear, and deliberate—focused on confidence, simplification, and finishing the painting without pressure.
