What's Happening During Brave Art Week?
Day 1: Get Set Up — Supplies, Canvas & Template
Mon, Sept 28 • LIVE at 10 AM Pacific / 1 PM Eastern
We start slow on purpose. Jed walks you through your supplies, prepping your canvases, and transferring your painting template — everything laid out simply, so you end Day 1 set up and ready to paint. Not overwhelmed. That's the whole point.
Day 2: Sunlit Rose (8"×8")
Tues, Sept 29 • LIVE at 10 AM Pacific / 1 PM Eastern
Today we paint! Follow along step by step as Sunlit Rose comes to life — luminous petals glowing against a rich, dark background. You'll end the session with a finished painting in your hands.
Day 3: How To Turn Good Photos Into Great Paintings (plus Color Mixing Exercise)
Wed, Sept 30 • LIVE at 10 AM Pacific / 1 PM Eastern
Jed pulls back the curtain: how to choose a reference photo that will actually work for you, and how to mix the colors for Coastal Light. Mix along at home — by Day 4, your palette will feel like an old friend.
Day 4: Coastal Light (12"×12") - Part 1
Thurs, Oct 1 • LIVE at 10 AM Pacific / 1 PM Eastern
Time for the big one! We begin Coastal Light — sunlit cliffs, turquoise water, and a hillside bursting with color. Big shapes first: sky, water, and land. No rush — the finishing touches wait for Day 5.
Day 5: Coastal Light - Part 2 + Celebration!
Fri, Oct 2 • LIVE at 10 AM Pacific / 1 PM Eastern
The grand finale. We'll finish Coastal Light — then comes the best moment of the week: sign your name, step back, and celebrate together. Two finished paintings in five days, ready for the wall — and you never painted alone.

How Do I Know This Is For Me?
If you've always wanted to paint but felt overwhelmed by where to start — so many supplies, so many techniques, so many videos — Brave Art Week was designed for you. We take it one simple step at a time.
If you painted years ago and want to find your way back to the easel, this is a gentle, joyful way to return.
And if you're already painting and simply want the fun of finishing two beautiful paintings alongside other artists — you're going to love this week. No experience needed. Mistakes welcome. That's what brave means.
What Supplies Do I Need?
Just the basics! To paint along, you'll need:
- A computer, tablet, or phone with internet access
- Basic acrylic paints — primary colors (yellow, red, and blue) plus white, a few brushes, and two small canvases (8"×8" and 12"×12")
Don't worry about getting it perfect — you'll receive a simple supply list as soon as you register, and Day 1 is entirely devoted to walking through supplies and setup together. You'll start the week ready, not overwhelmed.
Why Is It Only $10?
We wanted Brave Art Week to be an easy "yes" for anyone who's been waiting for a reason to start painting. Ten dollars keeps the week accessible to everyone — and we've found that even a small commitment helps people actually show up, paint, and finish.
No pressure, no strings. Just five days of painting together — because you never have to paint alone.
How Do the Daily Giveaways Work?
Each day of Brave Art Week, one winner is drawn at random from the artists present at that day's live session — you must be present to win. If your name is drawn, one of Jed's original paintings is yours, and we'll ship it to you anywhere in the world.
